Her father has quit his job to sell vitamins at the mall, and Kate is forced to work with him. Her best friend has become popular, and now she acts like Kate's invisible.

And then there's Will. Gorgeous, unattainable Will, whom Kate acts like she can't stand even though she can't stop thinking about him. When Will starts acting interested, Kate hates herself for wanting him when she's sure she's just his latest conquest.

Kate figures that the only way things will ever stop hurting so much is if she keeps to herself and stops caring about anyone or anything. What she doesn't realize is that while life may not always be perfect, good things can happen -- but only if she lets them...
"Vitamins had ruined my life." The opening line says it all really.

This book is full of hilarious moments and is hugely relatable for teenagers who think that life as a teen is the hardest thing in the world. There were plenty of Kate's thoughts that reminded me of what I used to think at her age.

I adored the Love/Hate relationship between Will and Kate. They had sizzling chemistry and every scene between them was exciting to read. I found myself anticipating every moment Will was around.

Will is a brilliant character. I cannot describe how much I loved the tension between him and Kate. Their moments together are fabulous and I found their story quite unique.

Kate's narration is extremely enjoyable to read and some of her witty comments are genius. Her Grandma also provided many laughs throughout the story.

This is the first Elizabeth Scott novel that I've read and I'm definitely going to be reading more of them. I would recommend Perfect You to fans of Sarah Dessen as the writing style is quite similar to a lot of her novels. This is a must-read for YA contemporary lovers!
